Disputes & Chargebacks

Important information about payment disputes, chargebacks, and account access.

Account access after a dispute or chargeback
If a dispute or chargeback is opened against a payment, the associated account will be disabled.

What happens when a dispute or chargeback is opened?

When a payment dispute, PayPal dispute, chargeback, reversal, or similar payment claim is opened, the account connected to that transaction will be disabled.

While the dispute is active, access to account features, downloads, purchases, order history actions, affiliate rewards, and other account-based services may be restricted.

Why accounts are disabled

Disabling the account helps us prevent additional transactions or account activity while the disputed payment is being reviewed. It also allows us to preserve order and payment records connected to the dispute.

Contact support before filing a dispute

If you have a problem with an order, delivery, payment, or product, please contact Support first. We may be able to resolve the issue without requiring a payment dispute or chargeback.

After the dispute is resolved

Account access may be reviewed after the dispute or chargeback has been fully resolved. Any reinstatement is subject to review of the payment status, order history, and outcome of the dispute.

Multiple or abusive disputes

Repeated disputes, fraudulent claims, unauthorized payment activity, or abuse of the payment dispute process may result in continued account restrictions or permanent loss of access.
